Pluck Recipe App · Data Deletion Instructions

Pluck allows you to delete specific data without deleting your entire account. You can remove individual recipes, conversations, and tracking preferences at any time.

Delete Individual Recipes

1. Open the Pluck app on your device
2. Navigate to the recipe you want to delete
3. Tap the menu icon (three dots) on the recipe
4. Tap Delete Recipe
5. Confirm the deletion

This permanently removes the recipe along with its ingredients, instructions, tags, and any associated images.

Delete AI Conversations

1. Open the Pluck app on your device
2. Navigate to the recipe with the conversation you want to delete
3. Open the AI cooking assistant for that recipe
4. Tap Delete Conversation
5. Confirm the deletion

This permanently removes all messages in that conversation, including both your messages and AI responses.

Withdraw Tracking Consent

1. Open the Pluck app on your device
2. Go to Settings (tap the gear icon in the bottom navigation)
3. Tap Privacy
4. Toggle off Analytics and/or Error Tracking

Withdrawing consent immediately stops data collection for the respective service. Previously collected analytics data is automatically deleted after 12 months, and error reports are deleted after 90 days.

Export Your Data

Before deleting data, you may want to export a copy. You can export all your personal data in JSON format from Settings > Privacy > Export My Data. The export includes your profile, all recipes, AI conversations, and consent records.

Delete All Data (Account Deletion)

If you want to delete all of your data at once, you can delete your account, which permanently removes all personal data within 24 hours.
