Switch from Paprika to Pluck
Paprika Recipe Manager has served home cooks well since 2010. But a lot of recipes now live in Instagram Reels, TikTok videos and YouTube Shorts, which Paprika 3 can't save from. How to export your Paprika recipes
Open Paprika on your desktop
Launch Paprika 3 on your Mac or PC. Desktop export gives you the most control over the file format. On iOS or Android, go to Settings → Export Recipes instead.
Export your recipes
On desktop: go to File → Export and choose Paprika Recipe Format (.paprikarecipes) to include all recipe data. You can also choose HTML if you prefer a readable format.
Save the export file
Save the .paprikarecipes file somewhere accessible - your desktop, Downloads folder, or cloud storage. This file contains all your recipes, categories, and notes.
Import into Pluck
Open Pluck and go to Settings → Data → Import Recipes. Choose Paprika, pick the file you just saved, and every recipe in it is converted and added to your recipe box.

Can I import my Paprika recipes into Pluck?
Yes. Pluck reads both Paprika export formats (.paprikarecipes and .paprikarecipe) - pick Paprika under Settings → Data → Import Recipes and every recipe in the file is converted automatically. Get the app first: download Pluck on Android or download Pluck on iOS.
Will I lose any data when switching from Paprika to Pluck?
No. Paprika's export includes recipe titles, ingredients, instructions, notes, categories, and source URLs, and Pluck's import preserves all of this data. Photos stored locally in Paprika may need to be re-downloaded from source URLs.
