Switch from ReciMe to Pluck
ReciMe is a popular recipe manager with a large user base and solid text extraction. But if you've been wishing it could handle cooking videos, understand recipe photos, or give you an AI assistant while you cook - Pluck is the upgrade you've been looking for. Here's how to bring your recipes along.
How to export your ReciMe recipes
Open ReciMe on your device

Pluck's recipe import feature is in development. Once available, you'll be able to upload your ReciMe export directly in the app. Your recipes, notes, and tags will be preserved.

Why people switch from ReciMe
Video recipe extraction that actually works
ReciMe's AI handles text-based recipes well but struggles with cooking videos. Pluck's multi-modal AI watches video frames, transcribes audio narration, and reads on-screen text to extract complete recipes from any cooking video - TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and more.
Photo and image extraction
Have a photo of a recipe card, a cookbook page, or a screenshot from a friend? Pluck's AI vision reads recipe content from images, handwriting included. ReciMe doesn't offer image-based extraction.
AI cooking assistant
Pluck includes an AI assistant that answers cooking questions about any recipe in your collection. Ask about substitutions, scaling, techniques, or timing - right from the recipe screen. ReciMe doesn't include this capability.
